Human Resources; not an Event Planner

HR leaders should be:

  1. strategic
  2. analytical
  3. agile
  4. proactive
  5. transactional

Arrrgh! The HR office deserves some dignity, please! Being in the HR space does not equate to being, 'any work'.

'It requires tact and strategy to manage the office.' 

Hence, I thought to clarify what HR is not.

Stop associating the HR office with non-strategic functions.
HR is πŸ™…πŸ» not:

- a Party Planner πŸ™ˆ        

- an Office Decorator πŸ™ˆ
- a Birthday Planner πŸ™ˆ


Dear HR ,

Should you find yourself in any of the scenarios above trusted on you, please, delegate or form a committee to handle this function. You can advise.

To be taken seriously by management, focus on more important issues like being strategic for one.

Start doing this and thank me later 😁
