  Should the years of experience be a priority in a hiring decision rather than the impact that has been made by a person regardless of the tenure of service / work experience? 🤷🏻‍♀️   Quality = (Curios Mindset) * (Agility + Resourcefulness + Development) / (Impact)   When making a hiring decision Recruiting Manager , would you rather shortlist a person with a longer work tenure or years of experience but has made little impact in the course of their career over one who has less, but has impacted the organisations they worked with through the quality of work done?   Basically, the disruptions in the world of work has affected how organisations recruit and the Millennials and Gen Zs' are also changing the dynamics.   Let's MUSE on this. Their quest for ingenuity propels them to ask questions  One of the essential skills for career success is CURIOUSITY Being curious involves asking questions more often than the average the person would. Curiosity is a mental state or mindfulness and can be developed. Curiosity gives birth to INNOVATION & CREATIVITY. Sometimes it is misconstrued by people as being intrusive, nosey or a plain busy body. However, this is a wrong assumption; rather, it is a powerful mindset tool to bring out ingenious ideas for problem solving. Asking questions broadens one’s mind into putting all the responses and conjectures together, analysing them, with the aim of arriving at a logical conclusion or solution.  Don’t just answer questions in an interview. Ask these questions too!! 📌 How the role fits into the grand scheme of things in the organization. 📌 What are the immediate wins the employer would like to see from the job holder?  Asides the fact that these questions show your enthusiasm to know more about the role and possible job expectations, it also places you on the top priority shortlist of the employer / recruiter.  Be your authentic self, Stop FAKING it !!! Originality would take you far in life. Fake life would only bring ruins in the short or long run. One smart fox would sniff out the scent of fakeness soon and there the journey to a downward spiral begins. Imagine having gone so far in life only for your fakeness to be discovered. Oops! Not a good end, right? Should you fall under the category of those who have falsified their age, lied about work experiences on their CV, provided wrong information to the employer just to get the job, did not tell the truth about any health challenges, provided a falsified educational certificate, and used all other fake paraphernalia just to get ahead in life, you are living a fake life.
