Asides the fact that these questions show your enthusiasm to know more about the role and possible job expectations, it also places you on the top priority shortlist of the employer / recruiter.

On a personal level, asking any of these questions prepares you ahead of time to decide on whether you have the 👇🏻

1.      requisite skill set to deliver on the job expectations

2.      assists you to negotiate a befitting pay for the job

3.      assess the interviewer’s reply on openness and honesty and lastly,

4.      the interviewer’s response enables you to determine whether to accept the job offer or not if selected.

The employer's mission is to get the most out of the candidates during interviews around skills and culture fit by assessing their response to the questions posed.

Therefore, the candidate should do same. This is the time to ask smart, intelligent questions from the employer. Try not to be intimidated.
